Gove, Ira S., veteran, Lincoln; killed at Cold Harbor, Virginia, June 8, 1864. Gillett, Abel W., Duxbury; served his time in invalid corps. Heath, Horace L., West Topsham; promoted by commission in Negro regiment. Hunter, John H., veteran, wounded at Funkstown, Maryland, July 10, 1863; also wounded in the Wilderness, Virginia, May 4, 1864: had his right arm amputated May 5, 1864. Hunter was one of the best of soldiers; would have marched right into a cannon's mouth if it had been necessary; he knew no fear of death when in action. Johnson, Benjamin B., wounded at Spotsylvania, May 11, 1864. Kenney, Geo. W., wounded at Banks' Ford, May 4, 1863; not down where from. Lyford, Henry, veteran, Hardwick; wounded at Savage Station, Virginia, June 30, 1863. Lewis, Edwin C, veteran, Northfield; commissioned in Negro regiment, and sent to the south-western department. Marble, Geo. L., veteran, Fayston; killed at Cedar Creek, October 19, 1864. Meader, Wm., wounded, at Franklin Crossing, Virginia, June 7, 1863. Moore, Joseph Jr., Bradford; wounded at Mary's Heights, May 3, 1863. Paul, Joseph, Topsham; promoted to adjutant clerk. Persons, Fred D., Warren; promoted to orderly Sergeant Oct. 1864. Porter, Warren C, Fayston; taken prisoner at Banks' Ford, May 4, 1863. Ricker, Benjamin, Washington; taken prisoner at Banks' Ford, May 4, 1863. Richardson, Reuben, Fayston, veteran, having served in the 9 months' men. Shonnio, Arnold, Duxbury; wounded at Mary's Heights, May 3, 1863; leg amputated May 5. Smith, Emery L., Northfield; taken prisoner at Savage Station, Virginia, June 30, 1862; also wounded at the battle of the Wilderness, Virginia, May 6, 1864; Smith was a good soldier. Stoddard, Lyman, veteran; wounded at Mary's Heights, May 3, 1863. Tucker, Julius E., veteran, Rochester; taken prisoner at Bull Run and probably killed by one of Mosby's guerillas. Taylor, John W., not credited where from.
